A Spark for Lasting Peace: Launching the Connect for Peace (C4P) Project Training
Ask Educator Organization (AEO) is proud to implement the “Connect for Peace” (C4P) project within the framework of the “Pathways to Peace” (P2P) program, led by People in Need (PIN) in partnership with the Women Empowerment Organization (WEO), and financially supported by the European Union (EU).
On August 22, we officially kicked off Day 1 of the Connect for Peace (C4P) project with a room full of inspiring young changemakers ready to lead.
Through hands-on practice, participants focused on essential peacebuilding skills, including:
- Active Listening: Enhancing deep comprehension and empathy in communication.
- Conflict Resolution: Developing practical methods to address and resolve disputes peacefully.
- Dialogue Facilitation: Equipping youth with the tools to guide constructive conversations.
This first step marks their journey toward shaping a more peaceful, resilient, and connected future.
Acknowledgments & Partnerships:
This successful opening session was made possible through an exceptional collaboration with:
- Emma Organization: For generously hosting us at their office hall and providing a welcoming environment.
- Hasar Organization: For providing an expert trainer to facilitate and manage our very first training session entitled “Dialogue & Conflict Resolution.”
We are deeply grateful for their warm hospitality and vital partnership in empowering our community's youth.
