Strengthening Civil Society Coordination: AEO Participates in the NGO Department’s Extended Meeting in Erbil

As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening institutional coordination and streamlining administrative procedures in civil society operations, the team of Ask Educator Organization (AEO) recently participated in the extended meeting held by the Presidency of the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Department with civil society organizations across the Erbil Governorate and the Soran Independent Administration.

The high-level meeting brought together numerous local and international organizations to discuss key operational and regulatory frameworks. The agenda focused on:
- Procedural Facilitations: Highlighting the NGO Department’s latest updates and facilitations to ease administrative workflows for organizations.
- Financial and Regulatory Compliance: Outlining future plans and guidelines regarding annual financial reporting and taxation.
- Open Dialogue & Challenges: Addressing observations, practical challenges, and feedback from organizations to improve the overall operational environment.
